Each EN Camps in our Race Specific Series includes:
- Over 10hrs of instruction, as two of the most experienced Iron-distance coaches in the country, EN Camps Coaches Rich Strauss and Patrick McCrann teach you everything you need to know for a successful Iron-distance training and racing experience.
- FREE trial membership in Endurance Nation, which includes access to all of our triathlon forums, access to video and audio files, webcasts and eBooks, as well as the opportunity to network with similar athletes learning and training for the same event!

EN Camps Louisville and Wisconsin 2007 are in the bag!
EN Camps Coach Rich Strauss recently wrapped up his series of race-specific camps on the Louisville and Wisconsin courses. Thirteen athletes in Louisville and seventeen in Madison were treated to a 4hr swim clinic, rides and runs on the courses, as well as over 8hrs of Ironman-specific instruction. Topics included Racing the Ironman, Ironman Training, Training and Racing with Power, Bike Fitting, Running Form, Ironman Nutrition, Bike Handling, Cornering and Descending Skills.

Swim Clinic |
The Coaches will host a comprehensive swim clinic, including 1hr of classroom discussion, 2hrs of pool time and drill demonstration, underwater video, and 1hr of video critique. After the camp weekend, each camper will receive access to an archive of swim videos, including their own, the Swim Clinic e-Book, and written critiques. |

Racing the Ironman |
After dinner, the
Coaches
will deliver a pre-race talk, detailing exactly how you
will race the courses, from start to finish. |

IM Course Ride |
After a quick review of Friday's topics, the campers will do a supported 70 mile ride of the bike course. Everyone will then run a short, race pace brick off the bike. |

Lecture: Becoming a
More Effective Self-Coached Athlete. The Coaches will
teach you how to coach yourself to a successful Iron
distance race season. Rich and Patrick's common-sense ideas and writings have helped
thousands coach themselves more effectively. |

Running Form Clinic and
Course Run |
The Coaches will
conduct a short running form clinic before you run the
Ironman run course (run as much of it as you like).
Patrick and Rich will ride bikes on the course, giving each camper form tips
and guidance on how to run the next section. |

continued discussion |
The camp will continue
with discussions on bike fit, setup, training and race
nutrition, power training/racing, and any other topics
the campers would like to see covered. Camp ends at
3pm. |

One or both of the EN Camps coaches will be at each race to deliver their pre-race talk to you again before the event, cheer you on during the race, etc. |
| Got Powermeter? |
Rich has coached, trained and raced
with a powermeter since 2001, including IMWI x 2, IMCDA x
2, Kona and many, many shorter distance races. Rich is
widely regarded as an expert in triathlon power racing. He
will share with you his secrets of effectively pacing the
Ironman with a powermeter. |
